JACKSONVILLE, FLA. — Novolex, North America’s leader in packaging choice and sustainability, today welcomed Governor Rick Scott to celebrate the expansion of its Jacksonville manufacturing facility. The $6 million expansion at the plant will support about 25 jobs.

During a tour of the facility, Novolex showcased plastic bags created from brown and gray film, which includes higher recycled content derived from recycled retail, newspaper, dry cleaning, bread and cereal bags, among others.

“Today’s event was a celebration of the growth Novolex is experiencing as a result of our incredibly dedicated workforce and our steadfast commitment to being North America’s leader in packaging and sustainability,” said Mark Daniels, Senior Vice President of Sustainability for Novolex. “We are proud of the work we do across the country to deliver high-quality packaging choices to consumers, and we look forward to our continued growth.”
