When Hurricane Harvey hit Houston in August, we wanted help those affected by the travesty – especially the hundreds of employees in our five Texas plants, including the Houston area. We encouraged our teams across the country to donate through payroll deductions, as well as donating additional products to assist in the recovery efforts.
In partnership with The Dallas Foundation, we were able to give to those people across the state who needed it most. We’re proud to announce that along with our employees, we were able to contribute $71,474 to Hurricane Harvey recovery efforts. We’re grateful for our partnership with The Dallas Foundation and appreciate their efforts to help distribute the funds to the various causes and needs in Texas.
We were also able to assist in the Florida Hurricane Irma recovery efforts by donating trucks of our products to several causes. We’re so thankful for the efforts of our employees to quickly and generously donate such a significant amount to those who so desperately need it.
